Panama Human Rights
IACHR to examine Panamá human rights cases.

The President of the IACHR, James Cavallaro, said during the opening ceremony that the sessions will decide cases, study thematic reports and cover 32 lines of work comprising 21 countries in the region.
The President of Panama, Juan Carlos Varela, told the members of the IACHR that the country complies with the obligations to respect human rights.
"Our country respects and complies with the judgments issued by this body (IACHR), faithfully respecting its constitutive legal framework," he said.
