Updated: Oct 17, 2019
for a two day donation drive, with the blessing of the British Embassy!
Another avid supporter of the foundation was the British Embassy to Panama City, headed by the Ambassador himself, Richard Austin, pictured above, the Ambassador offered his services on a dangerous 2 day donation drive at Mr Tuffney’s residence located in Darién bordering the Columbia border. The Ambassador was accompanied by his body guard and security detail.
Bottom left: Daniel Fábrega on his own personal donation mission to promote himself, and also the Embera Wounaan community, sadly this was the only opportunity Daniel Fabrega has ever had in getting close to these special Indian people. The photo-op was taken at a tourism event held in London, not in the deepest jungle of Dárien after a donation drive like Ambassador Austin.
Bottom right: Mrs Jacqueline Homewood -Trustee, Nicholas Tuffney – Trustee greet the Ambassador upon his arrival at Mr Tuffney’s residance in Darién.
Bottom right: Nick Tuffney holding one of his many events accompanied by Ambassador Richard Austin, this event consisted of two 40 foot containers loaded with over $300,000.00 of much needy supplies for the less fortunate people of Dárien, and supporting the San Jose hospital in La Palma in the process, these goods were donated by the people of the UK. Besides the donations, all 500 tribal Indians who attended were fed and provided for over the 2 day period…”Ambassador Fábrega what have you done for these people… since being in office, except living in a penthouse residence in London?
